About 75% of the wood used for the rooms comes from demolished homes and buildings. Timber comes from tropical trees such as Teak, Anjili (Jungle Jack) and Jackfruit. Earthen, unplastered bricks used in the construction allow for maximum cooling inside. There are very few heat-absorbing areas within the property.
